STPL’s latest project includes Chrome Ore Processing Facility at Northern Bypass, Karachi. This Project was recently established and has a professional team of individuals, having over 30 years of working experience in the mineral industry of Pakistan, responsible for operations of this facility.

Pakistan has belts of podiform chromite deposits in Balochistan and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Provinces. The highest grade of chromite ores is available in Balochistan, especially in Muslimbagh. Currently, the chromite ores deposits in Pakistan are estimated to be 2.5 million tones.

At present, chromite ores are being produced from Muslimbagh, Khanozai, Nisai, Gawal, Wad and Sonaro areas of Balochistan, and Malakand and Kohistan areas of KPK.

Pakistan’s chromite ranges between 28%-56%, producing both metrological and refractory grades of chromite.

STPL has access to mines in Muslimbagh and Kanozai in Kila Saifullah District, Balochistan. The chromite processing facility processes low grade lumpy chrome ores to produce refractory and concentrated grades of chrome. The facility currently has a monthly capacity of 2000 tonnes and it has been planned to enhance this capacity to produce 4000 tonnes per month in the second phase.

This Project’s product portfolio includes Chrome Ore of all grades ranging from fines to lumpy depending on client’s required specifications with no restrictions on quantity. Refractory and Concentrated Grades of Chrome can be provided through the processing facility.

STPL is interested in doing business over a long-term horizon and can discuss particulars and overall strategy for chrome to move forward.
